Project Description

222 Clyde Street, Soldiers Hill

This charming single fronted cottage had undergone extensive renovation with a new modern extension on the rear of the property.  Although finished to a high quality and standard and in a great location, the property sat empty for several months on the market with little interest.  The selling agents were eventually able to convince the owner that to get the best impact, the property should be styled.

We were lucky enough to get the project and we set about styling the property to showcase both the period features in the front of the home and the modern extension at the rear.  We used high quality furnishings and finishes to ensure that the quality of the home shone through.  Using sizeable furniture in the extension allowed prospective purchasers to see that the home had scale and could accommodate a family or entertainers.

The property sold after the first open for inspection to people who had previously inspected the property un-styled and felt it was not suitable or large enough for them.  They fell in love with the home after it was styled as they could see how beautifully they could live in the property.  The vendor achieved the top end of their price expectations.
